Since over 30 years we have been working with the ophthalmic industry and over the years we became undisputed worldmarket leader in some fields.

After the establishment in 1974 we focused, based on the know-how and experience, on the development of ultra-precise control systems and on the inherent procedural optimisation of processes. Our success lead to a considerable enlargement of our international clientele within a short period.

First target and philosophy for all our systems and machines is best performance, highest stability, lowest ownership cost and easiest operation. Based on this philosophy and on the consequent application of laws of physics, systems resulted which defined new standards and became worldwide undisputed reference.

A big contribution to our success was our worldwide operating and competent and efficient service, as well as our unique customerfriendly fullgarantee inspection and maintenance agreements. These agreements assure our customers predictable and fixed cost of operation.

Until 2003 our ophthalmic activities concentrated on producers of glasses. Beside delivery and maintenance of equipment we very successfully conducted some technology transfers.

On MIDO 2004 we presented a new generation of high level excimer laser engraving equipment for the first time, which depended on completely new technologies and construction principles. Because of the great acceptance our clientele expanded to rx-labs and optical customised manufacturing.

Existing as well as in future emerging products will base on high competence and consequent modular and physical oriented construction. The cost of operation that we herewith make possible are generally 50% lower than costs of our competitors so that we allow important and indispensable savings in a 5 years operation scenario.
